Tech Support Policy
Drama Education Network does not offer person-to-person tech support. We do offer a hands-on staff development workshop in the nuts-and-bolts of using the The Drama Game File CD-ROM on Mac and/or PC computers.

The first step you should take if encountering any problems with the CD-ROM is to read the setup and installation instructions included on the disc. Insert the CD-ROM, then open the contents of the disc to find the setup and installation instructions to read and/or print out. The Companion Notebook includes a quick setup guide in the Overview section. Download a copy below.

As a customer service courtesy, this page contains solutions to all known technical issues or problems using the CD-ROM that are not included in the installation and setup instructions.

Please email us any issues not included below including broken or misdirected links and we will post solutions.

Solutions to Known Issues
Posted below are solutions to known issues for the different editions of The Drama Game File CD-ROM. Included are helpful tips, alternate pathways, and work-around solutions. All solutions assume that the user has already followed all of the setup and installation instructions included on the program.

ATTENTION FIREFOX USERS:
The Mozilla Firefox web browser does not always autolaunch the welcome page like other web browsers. If you get a strange or blank page after clicking "I agree" to the license agreement, follow these simple steps as an alternate way to open The Drama Game File.
1. Open Mozilla Firefox web browser (with the CD-ROM inserted in your computer.)
2. Go to File-Open and navigate to find the CD-ROM contents.
3. Open the folder named "cdromdocs."
4. Select and open the file named "welcome.htm."
From here you can access all content and files on the program.
The other solution is to use a different browser than Firefox.
